Havana, Cuba April 2019
In April 2019, my wife and I were lucky enough to travel to Havana, Cuba. We only spent 24 hours there but were so very taken by the people and the culture that were going to plan to return and spend more time in this beautiful country. As Americans, we have this belief that the Cuban people are all "Commies" and bad people, but that is just politics and nonsense. The Cuban people are very warm, friendly and proud of their country. These old political issues need to be put aside so that the people of Cuba have a chance to thrive and let their culture shine.
Unfortunately, as of June 2019, Americans can no longer visit the country of Cuba and our thoughts of returning now must wait until the political climate changes.
The image in this gallery are only a tiny representation of my view of the "Colors of Havana".
